GOLF: Future Bulldog Golfer Wins City Junior Title

The Battle Creek Enquirer has highlighted a strong performance by a future Ferris State University golfer, Nick Haudek.

About three weeks from now, Nick Haudek will start calling Big Rapids his new home away from home at Ferris State University following a stellar prep career at Pennfield High.

And on Tuesday at Binder Park Golf Course, both links standouts delivered solid performances in winning their respective girls' and boys' overall division titles at the annual City Junior Championship that this year drew a field of 44 total participants.

Hopefully more good things are ahead at the college level.
