FOOTBALL: D2Football.com Columnist Tony Nicolette Predicts Ferris-Grand Valley Game

BIG RAPIDS - D2football.com Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference columnist Tony Nicolette has his prediction in for this weekend's game between Ferris State University and top-ranked Grand Valley State University at Top Taggart Field.

The Bulldogs have a tall hill to climb, and like most of the fans on the D2football.com message board, Nicolette is thinking the Bulldogs are in for a tough night against the powerful Lakers.

Here is what Tony wrote:

Prediction - Ferris has a big afternoon/evening of events planned for this one and expects Top Taggart to be pretty loaded for bear. Toss in the fact that GV hasn't visited Big Rapids since 2006 and FSU has a bunch of the intangibles aligned to make some hay with this one. With all of that said, while I would be pretty surprised if the Bulldogs don't make this one interesting for a while the Lakers just bring too many athletes with them (especially on offense) for Ferris to handle for 60 minutes. Grand Valley 28, Ferris 15.
