FOOTBALL: Offensive Highlights Hard To Come By For Bulldogs

FINDLAY, Ohio - With just 128 yards of total offense, there were not a whole lot of offensive highlights to speak of for Ferris State University (1-2 overall, 0-2 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) on the football field.

Tyler Thomas led the team with 39 yards rushing, Tom Schneider had 33 and David Freeman added 23. Ferris also fumbled the ball five times and twice lost possession.

That was about it as far as the rushing game was concerned.

From a passing standpoint, Schneider completed 9-of-18 passes for 75 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. He was sacked twice. On the receiving end, Mike Ryan and Alan Freeman each had two catches.
Matt Schuelke had a 17-yard touchdown reception for the Bulldogs (the first of his career).

Also with one reception apiece Ferris had Keenan Bowman, Aaron Olman, Ron Hardy and Skyler Stoker.
