MEN'S GOLF: Lilleboe Earns Weekly GLIAC Honor

BAY CITY - Ferris State University senior Eric Lilleboe was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's golf "Athlete of the Week" for his performance at the Saginaw Valley State University Al Watrous Memorial Collegiate Invitational last weekend.

Senior Eric Lilleboe claimed medalist honors by firing a school-record 14-under par 202 score (67-65-70=202, -14) at the Saginaw Valley State Al Watrous Memorial Intercollegiate Invitational last weekend (Sept. 12-13) at the Bay City Country Club. His 202 score established a new school 54-hole record, bettering the previous mark of 206 set by Jeff Carlson at the 2007 NCAA Division II Central/Great Lakes Super Regional Tournament. His efforts led the nationally-ranked Bulldogs to a season-opening win in the event.
