VOLLEYBALL: Big Wins In Minnesota By Ferris

BIG RAPIDS - Ferris State University's volleyball trip to Minnesota has been a good one through day one of competition at the St. Cloud State Tournament.

The Bulldogs pulled off a stunner as they upset fifth-ranked Nebraska-Kearney by a 3-1 score in Halenbeck Hall Friday (Sept. 4) by scores of 14-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-12.

In its other match of the day, Ferris went the distance to knock off Upper Iowa 3-2 Friday morning. Thanks to a balanced offensive attack, Ferris won the match by scores of 17-25, 25-21, 25-20, 18-25, 19-17.

Great wins for the Bulldogs who are now 5-2 on the season.
