VOLLEYBALL: Ferris, Others Getting Close To Start Of GLIAC Play

BIG RAPIDS - It's still early, but Ferris State University is off to a solid start in non-conference action this volleyball season.

The Bulldogs have a record of 6-3 after facing some tough competition at its own Ferris State Bulldog Invitational and at the recent St. Cloud State Tournament in Minnesota. Ferris has acquitted itself fairly well so far, but there is a lot of volleyball left to be played this season. Before long, the Bulldogs and others will see the intensity and level of competition really pick up as Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic conference competition begins.

Ferris has one more non-conference match as it will host Davenport University on Wednesday at 7 p.m. before GLIAC action begins hosting Wayne State on Friday at 7 p.m. and Northwood on Saturday at 2 p.m.
