and one of the big reasons for that was second-year player Ashley Huntey.The local product, who prepped at Morley Stanwood High School, was named to the St. Cloud State All-Tournament All-Tournament Team as she helped spark the Bulldogs to a 3-1 record over the weekend.
In four matches, Huntey totaled 40 kills with a healthy attack percentage of .259. She posted a career-best 13 kills in the team's five-set win over an Upper Iowa team that had been undefeated. She had 11 more kills against Missouri S&T. She was more than just an offensive weapon for Ferris, however. Huntey ranked second on the team in digs during the St. Cloud State Tournament with 43.
