Head coach Bob Daniels' Bulldogs host the Falcons Friday night at 7:05 p.m. and again on Saturday at 5:05 p.m. in a pair of Central Collegiate Hockey Association contests. Ferris is coming off back-to-back losses to the nationally-ranked Nanooks by scores of 3-1 and 3-2 (in overtime).
A point of emphasis for Ferris has to be continuing to play well on home ice and to be able to send the message that Ewigleben Ice Arena again will be a tough venue for opponents to come into and escape with a win.
Ferris is 5-3-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the CCHA while Bowling Green enters the weekend 0-5-1 overall and 0-1-1(1) in the league standings.
