HOCKEY: Bulldogs Enter National Rankings At No. 17

BIG RAPIDS - There's a buzz around the hockey epicenter of north/central Michigan as Ferris State University, fresh off its sweep of Ohio State University, finally has entered the national rankings at No. 17.

With 247 points, head coach Bob Daniels now sees his Bulldogs ranked 17th in the nation as the top 20 poll was released by USCHO on Monday.

Ferris currently is 9-3-2 overall this week and 4-2-2-2 in the standings of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association with 16 points (third place).
