"I'm pretty excited to get back to camp (this coming fall), knowing the starting job is open," Bankston said.
He's getting stronger, Bell said. And he's worked extremely hard to compete for the top linebacker position.
"Max is one of those guys who's going to do anything you ask him to do," Bell said. "He had a couple of tackles for losses (in the scrimmage), and saw the ball well.
