HOCKEY: Ferris Recruit Kane Showing A Winning Track Record

BIG RAPIDS - Ferris State University hockey recruits are doing good things on the relative eve of their arrival in Big Rapids to begin competing at the higher NCAA Division I level for the Bulldogs.

Cory Kane, a 6-foot-3 and 190-pound forward, promises to add some much-needed size and speed to the Bulldogs up front. Kane, a California native, is set to join Ferris' program for the upcoming 2010-11 season, helped to lead his current team to success. He led the Vernon (British Columbia) Vipers to the Royal Bank Cup earlier this month to reign as the Canadian Junior A Hockey National Champions.

It's good to know that Kane will be coming to Ferris with an all-important winning attitude to his credit as he prepares to suit up for long-time head coach Bob Daniels.
