FOOTBALL: Ferris Coaching Staff Is Set For 2010 Fall Season

Ferris State University has its coaching staff obviously locked in for the upcoming 2010 campaign with the additions of Chris Boden, the new offensive coordinator, and Gary McGraw, who has stepped in as defensive backs coach and video coordinator.

Sixteenth year head coach Jeff Pierce made solid moves to fill the two vacancies on a coaching staff that includes Duane Wilson, Ferris' long-time assistant head coach and defensive coordinator. Both Boden and McGraw bring strong Division II experience to the Ferris program and promise to be fine additions. During the spring, the two new coaches seem to blend in well with the veteran coaches who have been in the program for a number of years. There is little reason not to believe that the new coaches will not be able to continue that smooth transition as things become a little more serious with spring drills and summer workouts behind the team.

The fall is when business is for real for a team that hopes to bounce back from a painful season on the gridiron.
