Ferris State University's Athletics Department announced that the time has been changed for the start of the Bulldogs' home opener against Saginaw Valley State University.
Ferris and SVSU will go at it beginning at 6 p.m. on Sept. 11 at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids. That game time has been moved up one hour for the two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rivals.
It will be a big day of gridiron action at Top Taggart Field. Earlier in the day, there will be a high school contest of local significance as the Big Rapids High School Cardinals will host the White Cloud High School Indians with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m.
