FOOTBALL: Voss Not Returning To The Bulldogs

BIG RAPIDS - Ferris has had to make an adjustment with its special teams due to the unexpected loss of Mitchell Voss, who was penciled in for duty as the team's punter.

Voss, no longer listed on Ferris' roster, averaged 39.3 yards per punt last season with a long of 69 yards. He dropped 10 punts inside the 20 yard line.

The 6-foot-1 Voss came to Ferris from Valparaiso, Ind., and was projected to contribute either as a punter, a kicker or both.

The Bulldogs do welcome back Shawn Snoor, a junior, and will have some other guys in camp who might have to step up to fill in the slot vacated by Voss.
