FOOTBALL: Several Of This Week's GLIAC Games Look Interesting This Week

It's an interesting slate of games coming up in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football action this weekend (the schedule is posted below).

There are some interesting contests, including Wayne State traveling to Michigan Tech, Hillsdale visiting Ashland and Indianapolis venturing to Allendale to face Grand Valley State.

Some of these games, on paper, look like close battles and there are teams that could be on upset alert (including favored Hillsdale coming off that tough loss to GVSU and going on the road to face a talented Ashland squad).

Ferris State University gets its shot at Ohio Dominican in what could be an interesting battle as the Bulldogs face a team they will not have seen a whole lot of film on prior to Sept. 18.

But, the Bulldogs have an opportunity to take care of their business (be efficient on offense early, protect the football, finish drives and shut down the opposing team's run game).
