
This season, however, expectations will be elevated as Ferris is listed among teams that could be in the mix for big things by the end of the campaign.

One of the things you will notice, particularly in looking at the top of this poll, is the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference appears destined to again rank well as a men's basketball conference in Division II. Findlay and Grand Valley State are both ranked in the top three of the 2010-11 Preseason Top 10 of The Sporting News.
Despite some misguided criticisms, the GLIAC ranks as one of the better conferences in the land and this season could go a long way to backing up that status.
