FOOTBALL: Here Is A Look At GLIAC Standings

Here is a look at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football standings after this weekend's game.

Ferris State University's 22-20 road loss in the Superior Dome to Northern Michigan has dropped it out of a first-place North Division tie with Grand Valley State University for first place. GVSU now is in sole possession of first at 6-0 with Ferris one game back at 5-1 as the rivals will face off in the Anchor-Bone Classic in Big Rapids this coming Saturday.

That will be a huge game due to, if for no other reason, the current look of the North Division standings of the GLIAC.

North Division Standings

GLIAC All
Grand Valley St. 6-0 7-0
Ferris St. 5-1 5-2
Michigan Tech 4-2 4-2
Northern Mich. 4-2 4-3
Northwood (Mich.) 4-2 4-3
Saginaw Valley 3-3 3-4
Indianapolis 2-4 3-4

South Division Standings

GLIAC All
Hillsdale 5-1 6-1
Wayne St. (Mich.) 4-2 5-2
Ashland 3-3 4-3
Ohio Dominican 1-5 1-5
Findlay 1-5 1-6
Tiffin 0-6 1-6
Lake Erie 0-6 0-7

As a side note, congratulations to Ohio Dominican University picking up its first GLIAC win courtesy of a 20-10 win over the University of Findlay.
