This poll comes from Sporting News and is a top 25. I find the poll interesting because, based on its content, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference promises to be awfully tough (and top heavy).
Indeed, this particular poll starts the University of Findlay out as the second-ranked team in the nation. It also has Grand Valley State University as ninth in the country.
That means a challenge for a Ferris State University team, coached by Bill Sall (pictured) and led by preseason All-American Justin Keenan, that looks to have the pieces to compete with the Oilers and the Lakers.
Last season, the Bulldogs finished 16-13 overall and 13-9 in the GLIAC.
