VOLLEYBALL: Bulldogs Step Away From Conference Action, But Not Tough Competition

It's a big weekend coming up for the Ferris State University volleyball team as it takes on some important regional competition in Illinois.

The Bulldogs will be competing in the 2010 Mizuno Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC)/Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Crossover Tournament this weekend (Oct. 15-16) at the Great Lakes Center in Aurora, Ill.

Ferris State is 10-6 overall and 7-5 in the GLIAC as it takes a break from conference action, but not much of a break in terms of level of competition. Coming off a successful weekend of action in Big Rapids, Ferris is on a three-match winning streak led by talented competitors like libero Lisa Tobiczyk (pictured).
