A quick glance at this poll, in search of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools, one quickly notes Grand Valley State University at 20th in the nation. From there, eyes move down to the University of Findlay among "others to watch."
But, expect a number of other teams to be highly competitive in the GLIAC this season with the likes of Northern Michigan, Michigan Tech, Saginaw Valley State, Northwood, Wayne State, Ferris State and others. There are some teams that should be on the rise and some traditional upper-echelon teams that should remain in the upper echelon.
Ferris, led by the likes of Tricia Principe, Tiara Adams and featuring the return of Andrea Clancy (pictured), hope to be among the improved teams on the hardwood this winter.
