HOCKEY: Ferris Set To Face Michigan State In CCHA Contest In East Lansing

It's one of those mid-week games that is bound to get attention as head coach Bob Daniels and his Ferris State University heads on the road to Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing to take on Michigan State University.

It's usually an exciting time for the Bulldogs when they get set to take on the Spartans in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association contest whether it's in Big Rapids or its in East Lansing.

The Opening Faceoff: The nationally-ranked Ferris State University men's ice hockey team will be skating in its third Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) game in five days as the Bulldogs visit the Michigan State Spartans this Tuesday (Nov. 23) evening at MSU's Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing, Mich. The puck will drop at 7:08 p.m. (EST) for the live televised contest and represents the first of three straight appearances for the Bulldogs against the Spartans over the next two weeks. The two in-state schools are scheduled to meet four times during the 2010-11 regular-season campaign.

On TV: This Tuesday's (Nov. 23) contest at Michigan State will be televised live by Comcast Television and is available on selected cable systems throughout the state on channel 900. Matt Shepard will call the action with Lyle Phair serving as the color analyst. Rob Otto is the rinkside reporter.
