HOCKEY: Denis Named CCHA Player Of The Week

Ferris State University's big weekend on the ice against Ohio State University earned one of its talented players a little individual hardware.

Freshman defenseman Simon Denis was named the CCHA Gladiator Defenseman of the Week for his efforts against the Buckeyes. He had a career-best two assists in each of the Bulldogs games (a 4-3 win and a 3-3 tie with a shootout victory) and was a true tough defender with his blocked shots to help out the Ferris goaltenders.
