FOOTBALL: Csonka, Coming From Florida, Is Not Worried About Michigan Winters

Curtis Csonka, a 6-foot-3 and 275-pound offensive lineman who hopes to compete for a starting spot on the Ferris State University line this fall, is not worried about the harsh Michigan winters in spite of coming from sunshine in Florida.

In fact, Csonka noted that he took a his visit to Ferris in the midst of a blizzard - and he was not scared off of committing to play for the Bulldogs of new head coach Tony Annese.
Which means Csonka will compete for the starting center spot at Ferris State, whose new head coach, Tony Annese, comes in with a career record of 300-45. As for the prospectively nasty Michigan winter weather, Csonka isn't worried.
"I was born in Port St. Lucie," he said, "but I'm the only one in my family who's not from Ohio. I got caught in a blizzard on my official visit to Ferris State, and I actually kind of liked it."
Check out more about Csonka, whose dad is a cousin of former National Football League great and Hall of Famer Larry Csonka.
