The headline read, "Michigan No. 3 in college hockey poll." On a side note, the newspaper mentioned that Ferris State University is still No. 1 in the nation and in first place in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
I can't say that is totally unexpected. However, it was interesting to read one of the reactions from a fan named Matthew DeLand, who offered the typical arrogant response one comes to expect from some fans. DeLand wrote, "Also, Michigan swept Ferris State this year....oh and really no one cares about Ferris State...Michigan kinda sells!"
Not exactly what most humans would consider classy.
It's expected that some fans will take their cheap shots, but you'd like to think that fans who are truly knowledgeable about the sport and have respect for the game will do better.
